In honor of yesterday's news that Jason Statham will soon be kicking some more collective bad-guy ass in a new Transporter film, here are the top 10 most outrageous, awesome, and insane moments from the cinematic masterpieces that comprise The Transporter series:
10) Frank Martin Jumps Car Onto Moving Vehicle:
In this audacious opening for the first Transporter film, Martin deftly helps some hoodlums escape from a bank robbery. When he comes against a dead end, Martin's solution? Jump the car off of a bridge and then land it perfectly and vertically on another vehicle. Genius.

9) Frank Martin Fights Henchmen While Oiled Up And Using Bike Pedals:
There's nothing that gets me all hot and bothered like the site of Frank Martin, totally oiled up and ready to kick some ass...while using bike pedals on his feet.
8) Frank Martin Uses Hose To Brutally Injure His Attackers:
In the classic style of Jackie Chan, Frnak Martin proves that he can use any non-descript object around you to cause you insane amounts of pain and agony.
7) Frank Martin Drives Car Off Parking Garage Roof:
Typically driving up a parking garage while you're being chased is a bad move; it assures that you'll be trapped on the roof with nowhere to go but down. But for Frank Martin, it's just another opportunity to demonstrate the skills of his gravity-defying car (which we'll certainly see again before this list is over).
6) and 5) Frank Martin Kicks Door Into Guy's Face, Throws Gun Into Air, Then Catches It Behind His Back:
This scene has two outrageous moments. The first, classic moment is when Martin kicks down a door while the guy's face is in front of it, unintentionally creating a symbol for the entire series. The second one is almost taken directly from John Woo's The Killer, when Frank uses a tablecloth to throw a gun into the air, then disables his enemies using the tablecloth, then catches the gun.
4) Frank Martin Fights Lola On Curtains, Impales Her Using Decorative Living Room Fixture:
In one of the final scenes of The Transporter 2, Lola shows how completely ridiculous this whole movie is by using curtain-like fixtures to fight Frank Martin, then completely failing and getting herself impaled by dangerous sharp things she happened to have propped up in her living room.
3) Frank Martin Defeats 50 Guys Using Metal Rod:
In this insane fight scene, Martin demonstrates, Hong-Kong style, that he can take on dozens of people at once, a task made easier when he's using a long metal object to keep them all at bay. Awesome.
2) Frank Martin Disables Four Carjackers:
In this opening scene of The Transporter 2, Frank Martin demonstrates that a gun to his temple and four large guys with weapons can do nothing to phase him.
1) Frank Martin Flips Car Upside Down And Uses Crane To Detach Car Bomb:
This clip is the defining moment of the entire Transporter series. With the perfect combination of terrible CGI, completely implausible physics, and sheer audacity, it dares to show you that not only is Frank Martin a badass, he has no concerns about whether you believe any of what's happening on the movie screen. He laughs in the face of science and physics. He dares to go where no transporter has gone before.
