Geekin' Out: Awesome Fake Ads for Your Favorite Film & TV Show Corporations

Today's edition of Geekin' Out comes courtesy of Giant Ideas, a site that has a very cool feature called Geek Ad Wednesday which brings us fake corporation posters/billboards from fan favorite films and TV shows.

Company: Soylent Corporation
Movie/TV Show: Soylent Green
Clever Touches: The asterisk in "Soylent Green delivers the taste* you crave..." leads to a subtle note under the box that reads, "*Taste may vary from person to person." If you don't know why that's hilarious, then you must not know about the shocking discovery at the end of Soylent Green.

Company: Massive Dynamic
Movie/TV Show: Fringe

Company: Big Kahuna Burger
Movie/TV Show: Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, From Dusk Till Dawn, Four Rooms, Death Proof
Clever Touches: Sexual innuendos galore! There's also a nice reminder: "Don't forget to try our new Royale With Cheese!" Lastly, the locations listed on the bottom right corner are a mix of different settings from Tarantino films and fictional TV show settings.

Movie/TV Show: Seinfeld
Clever Touches: It seems fairly apparent that there are some inside jokes here, but since I'm not hugely familiar with Seinfeld, I'll leave it to you to figure out what those may be.

Clever Touches: This introduction to Skynet features the following words in bold: "This will be a date in history you won't want to miss. The world will never be the same." How right they were.

Clever Touches: "Right now we're featuring our MARS SECRET AGENT EGO-TRIP!"

Clever Touches: Near the bottom of the ad there's a subtle note in italics: "*Emotional balance in robots are now perfected. We apologise for any inconvenience."

Clever Touches: Metropolis (from Superman) is listed as one of the company's locations.

Company: Yoyodyne Propulsion Systems
Movie/TV Show: Buckaroo Banzai
Clever Touches: A small faded image featuring John Lithgow's character is hidden on the left side of the poster.

Movie/TV Show: Blade Runner
