Writer & Director of "Slither" Does Internet Porn... Without the Sex

James Gunn's PG Porn

I see a trend occuring here. Not too long ago, Joss Whedon teamed up with Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion to bring us the hilarious 3-part web series Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Before that, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay founded the celebrity-fueled comedy video site Funny or Die. Now James Gunn, the writer of 2004's awesome Dawn of the Dead remake and writer/director of fan-favorite Slither, is here to bring us a different online web show of sorts, which once again features the always welcome and hugely underrated Nathan Fillion. The concept?

How many times have you been watching a great porn film – you're really enjoying the story, the acting, the cinematography – when, all of the sudden, they ruin everything with PEOPLE HAVING SEX?

I know! What's up with that? Well, no matter, James Gunn is here to rectify the situation. You can check out what I mean by viewing the first episode of James Gunn's PG Porn, entitled "Nailing Your Wife."

Pure brilliance. Now they just need an episode with where a girl's TV connection goes out and she calls a cable guy to fix it... except at the end, he actually fixes the cable. Because let's be honest, it wouldn't be very professional of him if he didn't. Just because it's porn, that doesn't mean we should be negating proper business practices.
