What is Nicolas Cage Running From in New "Knowing" Photos? We Have the Answer!

Above you'll see one of three new photos from Knowing, starring a man whose most recent films include such instant classics as Bangkok Dangerous, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Next, Ghost Rider, and my personal favorite, The Wicker Man.

As such, it should come as no surprise that I'm immensely excited about his latest project, which is a movie about a guy whose kid finds a piece of paper in a time capsule that has a bunch of numbers which form a pattern that provides the dates for every major global disaster from the past as well as the future. Pretty straightforward, really.

Also, Nicolas Cage apparently runs a lot in it.

First off, let me just admire Summit Entertainment for providing such exhilerating photographs for us to enjoy. Not one, but two pictures of Nicolas Cage running. Those guys really know how to sell a movie.

But more importantly, I'd like to address the question that I know is on all of your minds: just what exactly is Nicolas Cage running from? ...Or to?

Oh yeah. I went there. This beautiful head isn't just a hat rack, my friends. Inside is a brain overflowing with contemplative mind-juices which are ready to dissect every possible scenario at large, particularly when they pertain to a topic you undoubtedly care as deeply about as this one.

With that, let us ponder. Why oh why does Nicolas Cage run so?

Is he trying to escape the humiliating, tortuous backlash of his most recent career moves? Is he rushing to make sure he doesn't miss the latest episode of Lost (a struggle I'm sure we can all relate to)? Or is he attempting to help save costs on overpriced plane tickets by activating his hair-based flight abilities?

No, of course not. What are you, fucking retarded? Not a single one of those can be even partially perceived as a logical answer. You should be ashamed of yourself for even humoring such idiocy.

Especially since the real answer is totally obvious.
