January 2009, baby! That's when the best show still airing on television returns, and I can finally stop trying to fill the void in my heart that's been caused breathlessly waiting for it to come back with the guilty pleasure that is J.J. Abrams' other show Fringe.
There was probably a 5-episode period some time ago (I believe during the first half of season 3) where people were starting to wonder if Lost had, so to speak, lost it. Did the writers really know where they were going with any of this, or were they just stalling by throwing out even more questions, in turn digging themselves deeper and deeper into a guaranteed-to-collapse hole? After season 4 though, my fears have been put completely to rest, and hopefully yours were too. As the show slowly comes to an end (the sixth season will be its last), all the pieces are finally starting to come together, and man is it satisfying to watch that happen.
Now excuse me while I freeze myself Eric Cartman-style to skip past the next couple of months.
