REVIEW: Friday the 13th

After my first few attempts to properly plumb the depths of producer Michael Bay's latest horror remake failed, I quickly realized that a simple written review was far too restricting. There was only so much I could convey with words when it came to the subtle intricacies of this rather brilliant reinvention of the slasher genre. A video review was the only logical option.

I concur.

That about sums up my thoughts as well. Nice first outing Adam, short, sweet and to the point.

Perfect review.

Perfect review.

hahah.

I saw your tweet about this awhile ago and just sat down to watch it (all excited, etc). And it ends up being 15 seconds long, hahah. Too funny.

Exactly

That is exactly what The Friday franchise is about. You have to give credit to the director for making this film the way it should have been made. You can't say this doesn't out class and out rank such Jason canon as Friday VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan, Jason goes to hell, and Jason X. In my opinion this is the best Friday film since VI. But then again I forget your young age and not growing up with these film in the theaters, so you wouldn't have the attachment like many of the people that are still following the teenage-slashing antics of Jason Voorhees...
